Mathew Wilsher assigned as the new President & CEO of PTCL and Ufone, a declaration sent to Pakistan Stock Exchange addressed.
As per tipsters, the decree finalized during a meeting of The PTCL Board on, last day they announced that Mr. Wilsher is taking the designation of Rashid Khan, who had been the body CEO of PTCL since March 2019, valid December 1st, 2020.
Mr. Wilsher has 25 years of work experience in The Consumer Goods and Telecommunication Sectors. He has formerly worked with Procter & Gamble, British Telecom, LG Telecom, Telstra, HK CSL, Maxis, and Etisalat.
The posts have included such as General Management and Operational Duties and worked as a CEO Etisalat Nigeria and Chief Operating Officer of HKS CSL. He has also learned some new Marketing/Strategic role because of his position as COM, Strategic Marketing Director for Telstra Mobiles.
Rashid Khan, Retiring CEO, and takes charge of Ufone in August 2017 and was later become the Group CEO of the PTCL group in 2019.
Rashid Khan lauded for different strategic actions for corporate success at the group, especially for Innovating, the network (both Ufone and PTCL), and adorning customer experiences of the user.
He’s also entitled to turning around both (Ufone and PTCL), a Resolute, in Pakistan Telecom Market.
PTCL, under the Leadership of Rashid Khan, generated 350% in YoY quarterly Yield during Q3, 2020. He also acknowledged for augmenting the customer base for both Ufone and PTCL, and that too during the COVID-19 period. PTCL essentially reported the highest number of broadband installations during Q3, 2020 in 2014. The Rashid Khan also presided over the very tangled and meticulous phase of synthesis between PTCL and Ufone.
